A long time in the making, Jamaica Plains newest public art installation “Wythe and and Web” by artist Matthew Hincman is finally complete. Sincere was able to collaborate on this multi media piece to create the five cast bronze chairs. This was one of our most challenging and rewarding projects to date. We are thrilled to see this interactive and functional work installed and ready to be enjoyed by the public.

The two Boylston Street sites of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing transformed with this beautiful memorial. Each site is 60 feet long, the sidewalk inlaid with bronze and stone. A central stone monument at each site pays homage to the three victims. Four cast bronze light beacons at each site stretch towards the sky and illuminate the site with new hope. They are 16 and 20 feet tall, and were cast in 56 individual pieces. We were honored to work with the following collaborators:
Pablo Eduardo, Artist; Robert Corning of Stantec, Landscape architecture; Pat Garrett, Stone work; Ross Art Studio, cast glass; McCourt Construction, site work

A project where our teams creativity was allowed to truly flow. We were given full trust in the design, and the opportunity to bounce ideas back and forth with the client. Teamwork and planning allowed for flawless execution and an extremely precise install. The goal from the client was to avoid bulky vertical elements and focus on an elegant streamlined design. Powder coated steel stringers and railings combine with ash wood backlit treads for a completely custom and modern feel.

This casting is a larger version of the one the artist made for Yale University (2008). The prototype was digitally scanned, then 3D printed at three times the original size before being molded and cast in bronze.

Twelve warehouse-style gridded steel and glass walls, designed, built, and installed on site at the PillPack Corporate Offices in Somerville, MA. This project was engineered by us at Sincere, consisting of 412 angle iron frames, and over 5000 machine screws. Raw steel and exposed hardware give the space an industrial feel, and the result is evidence of our technical design and precision execution.
